Apparently HD likes to advertise nationally but refuses to sell nationally.... they put ads on the internet but will not let a customer buy on line even I paid cash... I am extremely disappointed in HD's elitist mentality that waves the carrot in our faces but refuses to let us get a bite... According to sales reps from HD dealerships around the country, ( I tried many)... I am expected to fly out and sign paperwork in the dealership and then fly back, shipping the bike at my expense...In my case, it would add $6-8K to any bike I bought... One thing HD could do is transfer used bikes or the bike of my choice, to my local dealership and then I could accommodate the in-dealership paperwork.... If I flew to San Jose HD, I would have to have the dealership knock off $12k for my expenses and trouble... think they would do that?
